Dr. Rebekah Young is a therapeutic optometrist and a glaucoma specialist. She earned her optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois and completed her residency at Brooklyn and St. Albans Veteran Hospitals in New York. She specializes in the management and treatment of a variety of ocular diseases and co-management of post and pre-operative surgical care. Dr. Young is experienced in specialty contact lens fittings including bifocal lenses and keratoconus.
Dr. Young is a fellow and member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Young was a SUNY College of Optometry clinical adjunct professor for the optometric externship and residency program. She also has volunteered in co-supervising the SUNY optometry externship program at Bowery Mission for the homeless. Dr. Young is efficient in Taiwanese and Mandarin.
