Dr. Joanne Nguyen is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. Born and raised in Houston, TX, Dr. Nguyen is an alum of The University of Texas at Austin and earned her optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She then went on to complete her residency in Ocular Disease/Refractive and Ocular Surgery at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Nguyen offers comprehensive vision care, focusing on personalized treatment of ocular diseases, advanced dry eye therapies, and co-management of cataract and refractive surgery patients. As a seasoned surgical planner, she collaborates with Texas Eye ophthalmologists to manage surgical cases. She’s certified in performing post-operative adjustments and light treatments for the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), ensuring optimal care and favorable visual outcomes for each patient.
