Dr. Aurelio Tijerina is a board-certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist, proudly born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston.
Dr. Tijerina provides personalized, comprehensive eye care with a special focus on dry eye management, glaucoma, and medically necessary specialty contact lenses. He is also fluent in Spanish.
In his free time, he enjoys exploring the city, playing tennis, and spending time with his dog, Teddy.
